Athletek Baseball and this program helped build up my arm strength and velo. The most beneficial thing was learning how to command my pitches much more effectively.

Jake went from 88 to 94... and signed a D1 offer.
Keenan Nelms - College of Central Florida
I made the jump to being a full-time pitcher this year. I was committed to a D2 school originally, I went from 84 earlier this year to 91 at the end of the summer. I ended up de-committing and signing at the College of Central Florida. Before this program, I had no idea what my routine was, no idea how to pace myself, and no understanding of what my training should look like. Velocity Max laid the foundation for me to really understand what my strengths and weaknesses were and how to develop as a pitcher.

82 to 92...
Velocity Max was a game changer. I started the year, my arm didn’t feel great. By the end of the summer, I hit 87 and my arm never felt better. I actually have an understanding of what my routine needs to be. I'm about to start my senior season and have been up to 92.Â

Hit 90 for the first time... PBR Future games invitee
Velocity Max really got my arm strength up and feeling healthy. I went into the program with the goal of hitting 90. Once I really got into it, that's when I made the jump. I ended the program, I hit 91 and have never felt better. I now have a game plan and can hold myself accountable for my consistency. My last preseason bullpen, I sat 90 and hit 91.1. Ready for a big junior season!

From 83 to 91...
I felt Velo Max was a big part of my success this summer. I went from 83 in February to 88 at the end of the summer. Having a routine to follow every single day helped me manage my intent and allowed me to really clean up my mechanics. Managing my arm health was a priority for me. Here we are preseason, and I've already hit 91 and never felt stronger.

When I was diagnosed with cancer and forced to go through chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, my road back to baseball was going to involve a steep climb. Dave, Dale, Greg and the rest of the team had full confidence in me. My first bullpen, I was 73...literally middle school level. I wanted to cry. By the end of the summer program, I was back up to 81 and climbing, had put weight back on, and was ready to head back to school. In our preseason scrimmage, I hit 85 and my shoulder is feeling great! Thanks to the Velo Team & Athletek!

I trained with Greg & the Velocity Max team over the winter offseason. After coming off Tommy John rehab the previous year, I feel like the program totally prepared me to get back up to full intent again. My arm feels natural and delivery feels smooth for the first time in a long time!

After going through a minor arm injury and months of PT, I am finally able to throw pain free again and get back on the mound at full strength. The Velocity Max system has given me some new confidence in my routine and a better understanding of my overall management of volume and intensity.

Injured to 90...
Coming off an elbow injury, I went in with the goal of getting healthy. After going through the program, learning the system, and getting after it in the gym, I noticed my arm getting stronger and feeling healthier every week. I started the program with a FB hovering around 83 and by week 12, I was back to pitching in game and up to 90.

8th Grader from 67 to 75 in 12 weeks
Seeing my friends starting to throw harder, I knew I wanted to do the Velo program. The combination of learning my throwing routine from coach Greg and Tyler and working hard in the weight room for the first time with coach Shannon is what really helped me feel stronger when I got on the mound. After 3 weeks, I hit 70 for the first time and by the end of the program in LIVE AT BATS, I hit 75! Ready to keep working.
Brendan WhiteÂ
Velocity Max helped me overcome an elbow injury that I had been battling for a while. I learned a bunch of new drills and saw big improvements in my spin rate, overall just feeling much better on the mound. Thanks to Coach Greg and Tyler and the whole staff of guys who worked with me.Â
